Job description:
Paragon Home Care is seeking a compassionate, experienced Hindi-speaking senior caregiver to support a client with advanced dementia living in Lorton Virginia! Seeking 1 or 2 caregivers to do schedule Monday-Sunday 9am-1pm and possibly 5pm-9pm. 

Client Overview
  • 79-year-old female with moderate to advanced dementia (Lewy Body & Alzheimer’s)
  • Experiences delusions and confusion, especially when alone with spouse
  • Requires continence care (bowel & bladder)
  • Occasional wandering behaviors
  • Currently living with family; transitioning to a long-term living arrangement
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care (toileting, bathing, hygiene)
  • Actively engage the client through conversation, connection, and simple activities
  • Provide continence care (must be comfortable with both bowel & bladder)
  • Support with meal preparation and feeding
  • Provide companionship and redirection during confusion or delusions
  • Ensure client safety, including monitoring for wandering
  • Follow care plan and communicate updates to the office
Requirements
  • Fluent in Hindi (required)
  • 2+ years of caregiving experience, preferably with dementia
  • Experience with Lewy Body Dementia or advanced Alzheimer’s strongly preferred
  • Comfortable with hands-on care and incontinence
  • Patient, calm, and able to manage behavioral challenges
  • Reliable transportation
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications
  • Previous caregiving experience or in a similar role is preferred, but not required
  • PCA/HHA/ or CNA certification (preferred, but not required)
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferred)
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Current TB/PPD test
  • Must pass a background check

Compensation: $20.00 per hour
